Victoria Beckham Unveils 4th Collection

I wasn’t a big fan of Victoria Beckham’s first few collections as they were very ‘her’. However I must admit to instantly falling in love with several dresses in her newest collection, and I’m not the only one as numerous celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow and Elle McPherson have been spotted wearing Victoria Beckham’s designs as of late. Most of you will also have seen pictures of the dress Victoria herself wore to the Vanity Fair party after the Oscars this year which is from this collection too.

The dresses have a high-end, sophisticate elegance about them and a similarly high-end price to boot, with an entry-level dress costing £1000.

How to REALLY Save Money Shopping Online

I can’t remember the last time I paid the full price for anything I’ve bought online. I am the officially The World’s Savviest Shopper™ when it comes to online purchases and the time has come for me to share my secrets!

I recently tried on a pair of shoes in Topshop that I just HAD TO HAVE. Unfortunately for my wallet, they were €120.

We all know that Topshop are one of the worst offenders when it comes to Euro conversion prices, so it came as no surprise to me to find out that the Sterling price was £69 (which is about €83).

Want to find out how I paid the Sterling price AND got a further discount? Then read on!

Pee-uuw! Jennifer Aniston to Launch Own Perfume

Jennifer Aniston is set to release her first scent in the UK and Ireland this June, followed shortly afterwards by its release in the US.  ‘Lolavie’ which, roughly translated, means “laughing at life”, will smell “sexy, clean and natural”.

The ad campagin is certainly sexy. Featuring Jen in little more than a towel, it was filmed at one of her favourite holiday spots, Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.

Will you be rushing out to pick up this scent come June? I’ll certainly be curious to know what Jen Aniston smells like!

Steve Madden Hits Dublin’s Shores!

I love shoes and Steve Madden’s shoes are no exeption. Every time I head Stateside I end up coming home with several pairs of shoes from America’s favourite shoe store! Luckily for me,  Steve Madden is now being exclusively stocked in Dublin by Coco Boutique on Clarendon St.  You know what they say, a girl can never have too many shoes!

Prices range from €150 – €250

Credit Cards at the Ready: eBay Launches Virtual Outlet

eBay Outlet

eBay has launched a new online outlet that offers up to 70% on designer and high street clothing brands.

Brands, including Debenhams and Ted Baker are thought to be selling off stock at clearance prices through this new online medium. The brands have their own ‘shop fronts’ so to speak on the site which makes a nice change from the usual eBay experience.

I had a quick look at the Kookai Outlet and most items had around 60% off the original in-store price. Credits cards at the ready girls!

Irish customers will have to use the UK or US eBay sites for now but there is a plan to roll this out to all sites in the near future.

How to Rock a Playsuit This Summer

Playsuit
Yes ladies, it’s back for round! But be not afraid, the playsuit is not your enemy, rather it is a very versatile and valuable item that should be part of your summer closet.

Short jumpsuits are the easiest to wear and can be worn casually during the day with a pair of gladiators or glammed up at night with killer wedges.  Don’t be afraid of colours & prints during the day but for added glam at night pick a dark block colour like black or navy and cinch your waist with a skinny belt.

Full length jumpsuits are hard to pull off (no matter what fashion mags say!), so unless you have the confidence to pull it off, stick to the short styles.

Here are some cute jumpsuits from Topshop but River Island and Urban Outfitters have some equally cutes ones in store right now.

Don’t forget to shop online to avail of Topshop’s great Sterling prices!

Tom Ford Sunglasses Now at ASOS

I do love me designer sunglasses and I have a serious case of sunglass-envy after spotting these beauties on ASOS.  I invested in a Dior pair recently despite lusting after  Tom Ford pair for quite some time. These sunglasses have been regularly spotted on Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. They’re not overly big and have a very classic shape that suits most faces. In fact, I will go as far to say that I think they are the perfect pair of sunglasses!

Taste the Rainbow: Makeup Forever Aqua Collection

Make Up Forever Aqua Collection
New to Ireland this summer is Makeup Forever’s Aqua Eyes summer collection. The Aqua Collection is a new waterproof range including face and body make up  and is set to be a summer hit with Irish Makeup Forever fans.

The colour payoff from these little babies is exceptional and really does stay put in water (they may be been tested in my shower!). There are 22 shades to chose from and 8 of the colours double up as lipstick and blusher too! The bronzes and blues are my personal favourite and will definitely get a lot of use this summer.
